Change – Change – Change.

New Bar. Duh.

New Timing. Sure.

New Scoring. ‘Course.

New Test?  Nope.

New Format? Nuther nope.

New Strategy? Well, let’s say we have … adapted.

The irony here is that the general bar review courses have been using old MPT materials and lecturers for years to explain the California PT. (And save some money in the process.) But California’s PT – like its essays – has been more demanding and more layered. And so it promises to be into the near future.

You see, when it comes to test design, California has always been the leader. So, even though we now have a “90-minute test,” it will continue to be – first and foremost – an extremely well-crafted California Performance Test.

Because the more things change . . .

The Real Reason You are Here, Reading This Page

Bar prep is usually a one-size-fits-all – even when it doesn’t or shouldn’t.

And it doesn’t – or hasn’t – in California for two decades. (You can read any recent press release accompanying bar results or simply look at the Committee’s bar pass stats summary webpage. Either one will reference or recognize 1997 as the last great pass rate.) Nowadays, almost a half of test-takers fail the bar in the summer; and close to two-thirds fail the bar in the winter!

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Our MBEInitiative.com points out how the pass rate could be improved upon to create a larger “passing zone.” Then you and the rest of the applicant pool would have more opportunity to add your names to the pass list; and the way to accomplish this is via the afternoon session of the writing day of the bar as we explain in the workshop.

In an era of declining pass rates, you need to find how you can leverage a good PT score into a license this time. That’s where we come in. We’ve been teaching strategies and tactics for the PTs and essays for over 25 years.

This is the only course that guarantees your success with a “No Pass-No Pay” offer to first-time license seekers on the majority of your fees, which you only pay if you pass the exam this time.

In order for you to achieve success on this bar we will teach you the special reading, ‘riting and ‘rithmetic secrets to passing. (We are also the first and only course to require that you sign a nondisclosure agreement in order to protect the edge our students gain on the written portion of the exam.)

You should know that we have now consolidated our essay tips into the workshop to demonstrate how to beat that section of the bar as well.

AND we continue to make our MBE study advice available to ALL applicants so that everyone has an improved chance to pass the bar. Cuz isn’t that what we’re all about in this endeavor?!

So, even if you don’t decide to take our course, please, please stop by MBEInitiative.com and partake of the free study tips posted there. You might just create an extra passing slot that one of my students can take!

Good Luck to All.

P.S. If your friend who took us last time already swore you have to take this course, why are you still reading? Don’t you trust them? Or are you just the thorough type – because, if you are, we love you, you being the type who likes to understand all the angles and find every last bit of insight into this test. So do we.
