In addition to conducting California’s most successful Performance Test program for over 30 years, Holtz continues to tutor struggling essay writers in workshop and individual tutorial sessions. After a decade of service as a coordinating grader for the Barpassers main course and a lead grader for the Barpassers tutorial program, he has continued to assist multiple-repeaters overcome their writing problems. Indeed, he has worked with law professors, bar tutors, legal services entrepreneurs, and at least one self-identified former California bar grader to obtain their first or subsequent law license. FYI, success or failure on the bar has a measure of luck that is unreasonable for a high-stakes test which is touted as being as reliable and as fair as is possible.
